Jack Rodriguez is an off-season mall Santa Claus. Because
there is little business for a Santa from January through
November, Jack also does hair and makeup on the set of "King
Of The Hill" and "Fear Factor."
Jack has published three books for young teens: TWO-HEAD MARY AND THE MYSTERY OF THE VIBRATING TOMATO; TWO-HEAD MARY AND THE MYSTERY OF THE TIME TRAVELING GAUCHO; and TWO-HEAD MARY MEETS SHOELESS JOE JACKSON FOR BRUNCH, which recently won the Handsome Smiley Prize for best baseball themed mystery fiction for teens from the Darryl Strawberry Baseball Fiction Collective. With the prize money he received Jack is funding the production of his one-man show: TWO-HEAD MARY MARRIES CHERRY GARY.
Jack, an Aquarius, lives in an adobe hut in the hills above Mt San Antonio College. He prefers turkey to ham, hates Gatorade for political reasons, and owns a gas-powered hamster cage.
He will be signing copies of his books this Friday at the Malibu Fun Zone. Bring the ad from the San Gabriel Valley Tribune for a free CD recording of Jack reading his love sonnet cycle at Budokan.
Jack is also a past recipient of the Marty's Corner "Volunteer of the Year" Award. So back off!
